I know it’s Christmas Day, but it’s also my husband birthday, so I just had to nip on and share his Birthday card with you.
We’ve had a strange Christmas this year. Having both had a bad cough for over four weeks, a few days ago mine developed into a full blown head cold, with a throbbing head, I felt really rough.
Yesterday David travelled to his elderly 91yr old Aunt, stayed over to cook her Christmas lunch and travelled back today. I didn’t go as didn’t want to pass on to her as she is not long out of hospital.
Home this evening his cards and gifts have all been opened . This is the card I created for him, featuring The Gang’s All Meer #152294, a product FREE in Sale-A-Bration from 3rd January to 31st March.
The base card is Soft Suede card #119982 with an additional layer textured using the Stones 3D Embossing Folder. This is another FREE product in the upcoming Sale-A-Bration, part of bundle with Power of Hope bundle #152318.
The Blueberry Bushel card #146991 frame uses the Heirloom Frames Dies & Embossing Folders #152325 and creates a lovely texture to frame our furry friends.
The Meerkats have been stamped onto Thick Whisper White card #140490 using the Memento Ink Pad #132708 and coloured using the Blends listed below.
The sentiment was also stamped from The Gang’s All Meer, just stamping the top line.
Next I stamped some hats from The Gang’s All Meer stamp set using Old Olive Classic Stampin’ Pad #147090 and Blueberry Bushel Classic Stampin’ Pad #147138. These were ‘fussy-cut’ by hand.
