Hello and Welcome !

I’m back again today with our talented group of Global Demonstrators, in this months Ink.Stamp.Share Blog Hop – with ‘Christmas – Anything Goes’ themed projects.

If you have just joined me from Libby’s Blog or as one of my followers, a big warm English welcome to you. My share today features Brightly Gleaming Designer Series Paper & Gleaming Ornaments Punch Pack.

I loved creating these cute decorations several years ago when we had the now retired Ornament Keepsake Stamp & Die bundle. I’m so pleased we had this gorgeous bundle this Autumn, as the punches work so well to create more stunning variations.

The left image above has been stamped using Night of Navy ink and Christmas Gleaming stamp set.

I started with 20 small and 20 large punched images. Five of each size were set aside to keep flat. The remaining 15 of each size were scored in half.

The lower image shows folded punched images in groups of three and then onto one flat layer, making sure that the flat image had the decorative side exposed from the back.

I punched a circle from a scrap of card and marked a ‘dot’ roughly in the centre. Five of the clusters were then attached to this circle, holding them all in place. I find Tombow can be slippery on shiny surfaces and so a Hot Glue Gun, can make light work of this for you.

Repeat this process with the smaller ornaments and slot into the spaces in between.

To finish, I punched a 1” circle in Designer Series Paper or a stamped piece, mounting on a 1-1/8” Scalloped Circle from coordinating Foil Sheet, which is available in Black, Champagne, Copper, Gold, Silver, so you can choose whatever will coordinate with your colour scheme.

Sadly, the Brightly Gleaming Designer Series Papers are no longer available, however, my Retreat ladies this Autumn created some wonderful decorations, using different colour inks with the stamps and punch bundle. The photo below shows a few of them with some of their favourite projects from the weekend.

I hope you have enjoyed my projects today. Enjoy your hop round the rest of the group today. Next is Jacqui‘s Blog to see her gorgeous project she is sharing with you.

Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you back here soon.
