STAMP ‘N HOP – ‘Favourite Bundle’

Hello and Welcome !

I’m back again today with our talented group of Global Demonstrators, in this months Stamp ‘N Hop Blog Hop, featuring our Favourite Bundle. Wherever you have joined me from, I wish you a big warm English welcome to you.

‘Have A Hoot’ Stamp & Die bundle

There was no contest today for my ‘Favourite Bundle’, it simply had to be Have a Hoot stamp & Die bundle #155208. I’ve teamed it up with the Plaid Tidings #153527, a beautiful collection of 12 different designs in this 48 sheet pack of @ 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Papers.

This is a NEW bundle in the August to December Mini Catalogue that has just released this week. My Stamp & Craft Studio features lots of different ‘Owls’ and so I was naturally drawn to this set.

I can see so many more uses for this set that what it first appears. With the current global COVID pandemic, I immediately saw this image as a handkerchief and keeping germs from spreading, or someone who has a cold.

A small piece of Washi tape was placed over the moon and then inked up stamp using Memento Black ink. Washi tape was then removed, to reveal the clean moon underneath, so would not when when stamped onto Shimmer cardstock. Watercolour Pencils were used to add colour to the images, used together with the Water Painters.

Here I used a Paper Piecing Technique to stamp the image again on a piece of Designer Series Paper and fussy cut the handkerchief.

I then took a piece of 1/4″ Crinkled Seam Binding #151326 and then coloured using coordinating Stampin’ Blends, before tying a bow and attaching in the corner.

The remainder of the Designer Series Paper came in very useful to decorate the envelope flap and also a couple of strips on the front of the envelope.

Enjoy the rest of your hop round the globe today, continuing round the rest of the hop, starting with Stacey’s Blog. We love to read your lovely comments, if you wish to drop us a line.

Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you back here soon.
