Hello and Welcome !

I’m back again today with our talented group of Global Demonstrators, in this months Kre8tors Blog Hop with our Sale-A-Bration and Mini Catalogue themed projects.

To all my USA friends, and those Demonstrators participating today, a very Happy Mothers Day to you.

Today, we are celebrating you all with some floral themed cards. If you have just joined me from Melissa’s Blog or as one of my followers, a big warm English welcome to you. My share today features Beautiful Day stamp set #151257.

I chose the Perennial Essence Designer Series Papers for my floral theme project. These are gorgeous papers but will sadly be retiring at the end of the current catalogue on 2nd June.

My card bases are from Blackberry Bliss #133682 and Crushed Curry card #131288, cut in half and folded. Next was my Whisper White card #106549 layer cut to 7.5cm x 12cm and Designer Series Paper at 7 x 11.5cm.

Before adhering them together using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive #110755, I stamped my sentiments in the centre of the white mat layer, using Memento Black ink pad #132708 and die cut using Rectangle Stitched Dies #148551.

Now let’s get some heat on the action ….. I wiped my Embossing Buddy #103083 over my Fluid 100 Watercolour Paper #149612. This helps prevent specks of powder remaining where you don’t want it ! The floral image from Beautiful Day #151257 was then stamped using Versamark Pad #102283. Silver Embossing Powder #109131 was sprinkled over the wet ink and melted using Heat Tool (UK) #129054.

These images were then sprinkled with Pigmant Sprinkles 149663. I used the Melon Mambo and Gorgeous Grape together for the flower and Granny Apple Green for the small leaf. My second card used the Mango Medley as I found this a closer match to my Crushed Curry card base.

Next I spritzed some water gently using a very fine spray. Again the Heat Tool helped speed up the drying process. You can also dab with kitchen paper if puddles of water collect, or just to lessen the brightness of the colour whilst still wet.

Once dry, the flower were fussy cut using our fabulous Paper Snips #103579. To adhere them to my card, I added some shape using Stampin’ Dimensionals #104430 round the outer leaves and Multipurpose Liquid Glue #110755 to the centre.

Sadly, at this time of year, with the NEW Annual Catalogue just around the corner, many items that are not holding over will start selling out. See below for the link to our ‘Last Chance’ product list, many at reduced prices too.

I hope you have enjoyed my projects today. We love to receive comments at the bottom of our posts so please feel free to comment below before hopping over to Su‘s Blog to see what she is sharing with you today. Enjoy the rest of your ‘hop’ around the globe.
