Hello and Welcome !
I’m back again today with our talented group of Global Demonstrators, in this months Christmas theme.
My post for todays ‘Blog Hop’ will be sharing a sneak peak of this months projects featuring Peaceful Boughs Stamps & Dies bundle. If you have just joined me from Laura’s Blog or as one of my followers, a big warm English welcome to you.
Start off with an Early Espresso base card, either standard or tent, the choice is yours. Attach a 14.3cm x 10cm Mossy Meadow mat layer.
This is a style of card that works well with all sorts of foliage or floral images, so make sure to have a go and experiment yourself. Start by cutting your card to required size. Here is have as a 13.8cm x 9.5cm mat layer in Very Vanilla card.
I stamped the largest bough branch from Peaceful Boughs stamp set, using Mossy Meadow ink pad round the outer edge, with foliage pointing inwards. Take the smallest bough and stamp a few images to fill gaps round the edge, stamping off on scrap paper first each time, to give you a light shade.
Next, I die-cut the centre panel from the centre of the card. Attach the Very Vanilla stamped panel to the base card and mat layer. Stamp your sentiment in a contrast colour, in the centre of the decorative panel. Add Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the sentiment and insert back in position, for a slightly raised effect and the Mossy Meadow underneath showing through some of the detail.
I’ve added the next photo to show the difference on the panel where I have used a Blender Pen to create a slightly stronger detail. You can do this all over if you wish.
Here is my finished card, adding some boughs die-cut in Mossy Meadow card and two layers of Pine Cone, die-cut in Early Espresso and Soft Suede. Lastly, I added some Fine Tip Glue to the areas I wanted to add some extra sparkle, sprinkling with Dazzling Diamonds Stampin Glitter.
I hope you have enjoyed your stop with me today. I would love you to leave me a quick comment before hopping to Liz‘s Blog to see what she has to share with you today. Â
Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you back here soon.
