Hello and Welcome !
I’m back again today with our talented group of Global Demonstrators, in this months Colour Combo Blog Hop – using the above colours. A big warm English welcome to you.
My share today features the Bird Ballad Laser-Cut Cards & Tin #149595.
I cut a Merry Merlot card layer behind the delicate laser-cut. Next I die-cut Petal Pink card and Early Espresso card Layering Circles Dies and Scallop circles.
I created my flower by punching two 1-1/8″ Scallop Circle punch and then a 1/2 ” Circle punch in Merry Merlot. These two Petal Pink circles were snipped slightly on the edges and then I used a large ball tool (like the Take Your Pick tool) to shape.
The 1/2″ circle was embossed with the ball tool from the back, to create a dome effect. I placed two small off-cuts of Stampin’ Dimensionals in the centre and placed in the centre of my flower. This was then coloured with Wink of Stella brush.
The leaves were some left over pieces on my craft desk …. a little sneak peak of some of the ‘Poppies’ that are coming in the Spring / Summer catalogue.
I hope you have enjoyed my projects today. Enjoy your hop round the rest of the group today. Next is Caroline‘s Blog to see the gorgeous project she is sharing with you today.
Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you back here soon.
