Hello and Welcome !
I’m back again today with our talented group of Global Demonstrators, in this months Ink.Stamp.Share Blog Hop – with ‘Let’s Here It For The Boys’ themed projects.
If you have just joined me from Anastasia’s Blog or as one of my followers, a big warm English welcome to you. My share today features Come Sail With Me Designer Series Papers #149481.
These are currently my favourite ‘male’ themed Designer Series Papers. With the current Global situation, encouraging the men in our lives to use tissues to ‘Catch It, Bin It, Kill It’ to keep bugs at bay, is imperative.
I have been making these boxes for several years, as they continue to be a very useful handmade gift, enjoyed by my class attendees.
The most recent ones David purchased, were a different size than I usually get, so for this class project I had to resize all the dimensions and decorative layer measurements.
This sentiment from Sailing Home stamp set #149457 was perfect for this project. Here I have stamped the images in Night of Navy Classic Stampin’ Pad #147110 and then immediately sprinkled Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder #108130 over the top, melting with a Heat Tool #129054. Apologies, despite many attempts, I couldn’t capture this effect on the camera.
The Smooth Sailing Dies #149576 have a large selection of coordinating Dies to cut your stamped and much more. I love this label Die with it’s delicate stitching round the outside. Just simply perfect.
Remember if you purchase the stamps and dies together as a Bundle, you can save 10% using the code #151066.
Finally, the decoration on the top of my tissue box, I die-cut the ships wheel in Night of Navy card and added a stamped and die-cut anchor.
I’m adding a bonus variation here from one of my last classes before socially distancing began. Paula had requested a nautical theme and these papers were perfect. She chose the lighthouse DSP from the same selection, a lighter base, with circle punches and Die cuts.
I hope you have enjoyed my projects today. Enjoy your hop round the rest of the group today, clicking on the NEXT button to continue to Jill‘s Blog and the gorgeous project she is sharing with you.
