Hello and Welcome !

Today I am hopping around the Globe with the Inspire, Create, & Share (I.C.S.) monthly Blog Hop, as we share our ‘Punch Me Out’ creative projects. If you have just joined me from Candy’s Blog or as one of my followers, a big warm English welcome to you.

My share today features the Balloon Bouquet Punch #140609, featured on p165 of the 2020-2022 Annual Catalogue.

One of my favourite bundles in the August-December Mini Catalogue is on p62, Have A Hoot bundle #155208, a Stamp and Die bundle, benefitting from a 10% saving when purchased together.

This set is so versatile and I have been sharing many possibilities uses throughout the year. Today I will be using the image shown in the catalogue, with the spider.

I cut a base card from Misty Moonlight card #153086 and a mat layer from Whisper White card #106549 which was embossed using the Brick & Mortar Embossing Folder #149643 and attached to the base card.

Next, I applied a small piece of retired Washi tape over the spider and ‘string’. Ink up as usual using Memento Black ink but remove the masking tape before stamping on smaller Whisper White panel.

The tree and the Owl were coloured in using Stampin’ Blends of your choice, remembering to use both light and dark from the duos, to add shading and dimension.

The theme of our post today, was featuring ‘punches’. Here I have used the Balloon Bouquet Punch #140609, punching five of the smaller balloons from Flower for Every Season Designer Series Paper #152486. Whichever papers you use, punch an additional layer from corresponding card. Pair up one DSP balloon from card and one from DSP and attach together.

Using the Misty Moonlight Bakers Twine #153620 from the Ribbon Combo, attach an end to the back of each balloon, using Mini Glue Dots. Repeat with all five balloon strings. Apply Stampin’ Dimensionals to the reverse of balloon and secure in a cluster position above owl.

Pull all five strings together and tie an overhand knot, trying to position where the owls wing is out-stretched, as if he is holding them.

Lastly, my sentiment used was stamped from Itty Bitty Greetings before being die-cut using the smallest from Stitched So Sweetly Dies #151690.

I hope you have enjoyed my projects today. Enjoy your hop round the rest of the group today. Next is June‘s Blog so click below to see the gorgeous project she is sharing with you.

Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you back here soon.
