Welcome to our Blog Hop today with my Global Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator friends, for this months ‘hop’, sharing our Summer themed projects.
I love being outside in the fresh air, during the summer months, either a little gardening or being near to water when I can.
‘My Meadow’ stamp set
The ‘My Meadow’ stamp set was crying out to be inked up for its very first outing ! You can follow along with it, on p56 in the Annual Catalogue.
The ‘My Meadow’ stamp set has 24 Photopolymer stamps, which enable you to build scenes as you wish.
If you are reading this before 8pm this evening, I will be featuring these on my regular Facebook ‘Live’ this evening at 8pm, HERE.
I kept a little simpler for my first card today, stamping to build layers. The Classic Ink Pads used are Gray Granite #147118, Blackberry Bliss #147092, Pear Pizzazz #147104, Crushed Curry #147087 and Seaside Spray #150085.
The die -cut shapes for the layer and also the sentiment, are both from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies #151690, but would work equally as well stamped straight onto the Notecard.
These stamps work so well together. You can literally build up all elements of your design, plus being Photopolymer, enables you to be able see through for correct placement.
There are two different small clusters of stones and two different grasses, with all the flowers sitting on top perfectly.
This image reminds me of my early childhood, staying at my Grandad’s, who’s address was ironically ‘The Meadows’. During the school holidays and weekend visits, we would often cross over rickety bridges, a bit like this one, without a care in the world and no concern of falling in ! Who else remembers playing ‘Pooh sticks’. (I had to explain this one to 12yr old niece).
Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you have enjoyed seeing my project and have fun hopping round the rest of our Demonstrator friends, seeing the inspiration they have to share with you today.
