Hello and Welcome !
I’m back again today with our talented group of Global Demonstrators, in this months Stamp ‘N Hop Blog Hop. if you have joined me from Vicky’s Blog, or as one of my followers, a big warm English welcome to you.
For todays ‘Blog Hop’ we are all sharing projects featuring projects created from the Mini Catalogue products.
Poinsettia Place Suite
Today I am sharing a new addition to my library, the Poinsettia Petals Bundle #155148.
I use of one of our Full Wide Cases #127551 to store all of my heat Embossing materials. These cases are ideal for holding the Versamark ink pad #102283, all my embossing powders in all the Stampin’ Up! colours, an old wooden peg for holding work and preventing burnt fingers and sheet of Small Grid Paper #149621 for using with Stamparatus with each colour written on the top. I use these for tip on powder and using as a funnel to shake back into the pot, alleviating contamination between colours.
The three different sizes of poinsettia were stamped onto Vellum cardstock #106584 in Versamark ink pad #102283, sprinkled with White Embossing Powder #109132, then melted using the Heat Tool #129054. Next I die-cut using the Poinsettia Dies #153522.
The leaves were also stamped, heat embossed and die-cut as above. Leaves and sprigs were coloured on the reverse of the Vellum using a Sponge Dauber #133773 and Shaded Spruce Classic ink pad #147088. Because vellum is very opaque, I made sure to get a stronger colour to show through.
I used a Bone Folder #102300 to curl the flower petals and then assembled my Poinsettia and foliage on the reverse.
A layer of Whisper White card #106549 was cut and embossed using the Winter Snow Embossing Folder #153577 and adhered to the front of a Shaded Spruce base card #147006.
My sentiment today was stamped in Shaded Spruce Classic Ink #147088 onto a scrap of Whisper White card and die-cut using one of the scalloped rectangular dies from Stitched So Sweetly Dies #151690.
Once all assembled, three Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels #146924 were attached to the centre of the Poinsettia to finish. Gotta have a bit of ‘bling’.

This is one of my least favourite sets in the catalogue, however I really like what you have done with it. Nice card x
Thanks. Only just inked it up for this hop. More ideas sketched to play with though.
