Movies & TV theme
Welcome to our ‘Movies & TV’ inspired projects, sharing lots of inspiration and interpretation for our global Stampin’ Dreams Blog Hop.
You are currently visiting Sandra here in Norfolk, UK and I hope you enjoy inspiration from my project today.
‘Chicken Run’ Movie
Getting creative with the new Hey Birthday Chick bundle #158631, I realised that this would fit nicely as a running Chicken image and a good fit for todays theme!
Remembering a technique I created many years ago, I chose a stamp that would work well, giving an appearance of movement.
To start with, it’s best to check your Memento Black ink pad is topped up if need be. I use the back of a plastic spoon to spread around the ink pad surface.
I attached my card straight on my Grid Paper and used Washi Tape or temporary adhesive to hold in place.
It’s important to use an appropriate size block for the size of your stamp. Your starting position, to the left or right, will be determined by the way image is facing.
I inked up my Hey Chick stamp using Memento Ink and stamped one full image to the left of my card. To get the movement effect, continue stamping, moving along Grid Paper at 0.5cm (1/4″) increments.
Sponge sky with Balmy Blue Classic Stampin’ Pad #147105 using some Layering Oval Dies #141706 as a mask. Sponge along bottom of your panel using Granny Apple Green Classic Stampin’ Pad #147095.
Cut and score half sheet of Granny Apple Green card #147014 to create you card base. Stamp entire card front using All Wired Up background stamp #149262 with Smokey Slate Classic Stampin’ Pad #147113.
Make up card adding Die Cut fence and Happy Birthday sentiment from Hey Birthday Chick bundle #158631.
Enjoy your trip around the Globe, seeing all the other wonderful creations by my Demonstrator colleagues.

I immediately thought of Chicken Run when I saw this month’s theme but don’t have any of those sets. Your card is great for that movie!
