Do you like creating for your home or gifts ??

On the last day of every month, a group of talented Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators, many of whom take part in the Global SU Share Fair, take part in a video hop (VLOP Hop). Today you will be able to view free video tutorials sharing ‘Home Decor’ projects.

For my project I am sharing a Tissue Box cover which I’ve been making or many years. Since our house re-wire and resulting decorating in Autumn 2019, I have been wanting to have one Tissue Box for each room, in coordinating theme.

This one I created for today’s Home Decor VLOG Hop is for the Poppy bedroom. This room has a fireplace and decor featuring beautiful poppies. Both Julie and David didn’t want the images coloured in, so I left them. The same small poppy border was used round the top of the box.

The Painted Poppies cling stamp set #151599 and coordinating Painted Labels Dies #151605 are still available in the current Annual Catalogue.

I had company for the day whilst creating and Julie joined me by making one for ‘her’ bedroom, when she has previously stayed over. Several of my regular Retreat and stay over guests always like to have the same rooms each time!

The fireplace in this room has beautiful blue tiles and when we moved here, I purchased blue striped, kinda nautical themed bedding. The Sailing Home stamp set #149457 and coordinating Smooth Siling Dies #149576 were perfect for the room decor.

This Home Decor Tissue Box is for the twin single room with an Owl theme so of course, I had to use the sadly retired ‘Have A Hoot’ bundle from last Autumn. Being an Owl fan, this bundle is one that I won’t be parting with. I haven’t decided whether I want to colour in these images or not ? What do you think ? Leave me a note in the comments below.

My last share today uses the Poinsettia Place stamp set #158251 and Poinsettia Dies #153522, both of which have carried over into the current Annual Catalogue. I created this one last year using one of last years coordinating seasonal Designer Series Papers.
