Hello & Welcome to my Amazing Silhouette product focus today !
We are so pleased to be back once again with you today with our talented group of Global Demonstrators. In this months ‘Anything Goes’ Kre8tors Blog Hop, you will see many of us showcasing ‘new’ products from our 2022 Sale-A-Bration and/or 2022 Mini Catalogues.
If you have just joined me from Angie’s Blog or as one of my followers, a big warm English welcome to you. My share today features the Amazing Silhouettes stamp & Die bundle #157819 from the 2022 January to June Mini catalogue.
Sponge Daubers ‘direct to stamp’ Technique
This stamp has been created so that inking will leave the tree in the centre untouched. I used a piece of Fluid 100 5″x7″ Watercolour Paper #149612 a little larger than I wanted. Using my Classic Stampin’ Pads in Misty Moonlight #153118, Gray Granite #147118 and Cinnamon Cider #153114, I then took a Sponge Daubers #133773 for each colour, to ink the surface.
More Amazing Silhouettes in alternative colour combinations
When choosing a colour combination for my cards, I often cut a card base and mat layer in each colour, to highlight the different look using the same piece of artwork with each colour behind. It’s amazing the difference each one brings, using card in Misty Moonlight #153086, Gray Granite #147008, and Cinnamon Cider #153083.
You can use any textured embossing folder for the mat layr on the card base.mat layer, was created using the Stampin’ Up! Stamparatus #148187 is a fabulous tool for crafters as it has multiple uses and makes techniques so easy, ensuring the image is in the exact same place each time. On my Facebook ‘Live’ I also demonstrated how to add the sneaky touch of Gilded Leafing #154560 onto my inked image.
I hope you’ve enjoyed my product focus in todays ‘hop’ featuring the Amazing Silhouettes stamp & Die bundle. We love to hear your thoughts on our projects, so please leave a quick comment below, before hopping to Libby’s Blog to see what she is sharing with you today.
