Today I am using the Lovely Lattice stamp set #149730 which is one of the choices available from the Sale-A-Bration promotion until 31st March.
I stamped the floral image twice onto Whisper White card #106549, adding a sentiment using Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad #132708 and then adding subtle background texture with the Pinewood Planks Textured Impressions Embossing Folder #143708. The second image was coloured and then fussy cut by hand, adding a 3D dimension to my card and adding some Basic Pearl Jewels #144219 to the centre of some flowers.
There’s something very therapeutic about watercolouring. Here I used Petal Pink #147009, Garden Green #108605 and So Saffron #147109 ink pads. Here I’ve made it that little bit more special, using an old Wink of Stella #141897 as a waterbrush, adding a few drops of water and shaking to release some mica paint from the inside of the barrel and give my images a bit of sparkle.
