Hi and welcome to another hop around the globe, celebrating Kelly’s Birthday, down under in the land of Oz. What a fabulous idea to link up with all your Stamping Friends !! I’m hoping to meet up with many of the new ‘faces’ I have met through our global link-ups like this, when my husband and I attend my very first Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip this summer, in Alaska.
So firstly, I think we need to congratulate Kelly on her birthday and hope you have a fabulous time.
With the NEW Stampin’ Up! NEW Annual Catalogue launching on 1st June, I was one of the lucky Demonstrators attending our On Stage Convention last month, having an early copy of the fabulous-ness being released.
Last Weekend I held two Mixed Media and Brusho’s classes, here at my Stamp & Craft Studio. Everyone had a fabulous time and there has been lots of interest to repeat.
Whilst planning and preparing techniques to share with my class, I had great fun ‘playing’ and experimenting with effects, I created several exciting panels of colour.
Here I used the Yellow and Prussian Blue Brushos. I love the way that the colours can blend less or more, depending on how much water is spritzed and when you stop the reaction and dry with heat gun.
For this colour panel, I used the Brilliant Red and Prussian Blue, sprinkling on dry watercolour card and then gently spritzing with a very fine water mist bottle from the side where colour was and aiming towards the centre, so the colours splattered inwards.
Please pop back tomorrow to see some more samples we experimented with. Its amazing what can be achieved with just FIVE colours, and how well those five colours work with our NEW Stampin’ Up! 2018-20 In-Colours.
Here is a list of all the participants in Group ‘B’. I hope you have enjoyed the creative ideas you have seen so far, and continue around the globe.
