For ideas, inspiration and tutorialsDEMO’s JUST WANNA HAVE FUN !
Continuing my suite of projects created with the new Affectionately Yours suite from Stampin' Up!, today I have finally finished the scrapbook page below. I really am quite slack with my scrapbooking but as I had a few photos printed for another project, I added a few extras too. Sitting on the scrapbook shelf, they were in need of some TLC and I am in LOVE with the Swirly Bird stamp set and Swirly Scribbles Framelit Dies. Those who know my Craft Studio,...
*** NEW *** ANNUAL 2016/17 CATALOGUE IS HERE
The NEW Annual 2016/17 is finally here ! I have added the link to the sidebar but this is from the Stampin' Up! Demo site so doesn't appear to be working for the general public. It's so early, Stampin' Up! haven't yet got the links transferred across to our Online Shops (link below) at the moment, but I'm sure it will appear there very soon. I'm off to work now but will be checking links and get everything fully working this evening, including the fabulous...
JUST HAD TO HAVE A GO WITH THESE !!!
Evening fellow crafters What a lovely day it's been again today, for the long Bank Holiday weekend. David has been out with our local Goldwing club, displaying our fabulous machines at a charity fund-raising event ...... and me, well, I stayed home with a couple of overnight visitors this morning and an afternoon home alone, crafting ...... a wonderful way to spend the day. For my 'play-time' today I wanted to christen my Swirly Birds stamp set and Swirly Scribbles...
TISSUE BOX – Affectionately Yours Suite
Another paper from Affectionately Yours Designer Series Paper pack, used today to bring Friday's Tissue box up-to-date with NEW Designer Series Papers available in the 2016/17 catalogue, from 1st June. This is the project I designed for my ladies private class on Friday, learning three different way to create handmade flowers. Here I have just used different sized scallop circle punches, cutting into a helter-skelter and rolling into small...
RETIRING PRODUCTS – Floral Tissue Box Cover
Lovely craft day today with some regulars, raiding my supplies to chose their own colour scheme for projects. They found my Morning Mocha !!!!!! The request was flowers but not on sticks/cards. Here I used the retiring Spiral Floral Die and various scallop punches to 'roll' flowers three different ways. Love these tissue boxes and decorated photo clips they made to accompany them. So nice to welcome a potential new member of my Stampin' Up! team from the...
TWO-DRAWER GIFT BOX
With the launch of a NEW catalogue, it's time to set about updating some of my favourite projects, using NEW card and Designer Series Papers. This was a gorgeous little box, I created using Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper Stack, for each of our team travelling companions, attending Stampin' Up! On Stage event in April. Inside, I added Thorntons chocolate in A7 size cello bags. I'm loving this project updated using the NEW papers available from 1st...
DEMO SWAP GROUP
Our May monthly Demo swap group was to create two cards, one something from 'old' catalogue but held over into the new catalogue, and one to create something 'new' from our pre-order products. For my 'old' project, I used Butterfly Basics stamp set and Butterflies Thinlits Dies used at a recent 'Watercolour & Inks Technique class. We filled an Aqua Painter with a supermarket sterilising liquid (bit kinder than bleach) and 'painted' the flowers, bleaching the colour from...
TRIO OF CARDS – Affectionately Yours Suite
Today I'm sharing the first of my projects made with the NEW Affectionately Yours suite from Stampin' Up! 2016/17 Annual catalogue. Here are my first trio of cards, together with co-ordinating handmade envelopes, created using the Envelope Punch Board. CARD 1 - I used the co-ordinating Stampin' Write Markers to colour the raised image inside the Floral Affection Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, before passing through the Big Shot Die-Cutting machine. The...
WATERCOLOUR & INKS CLASS
This is my favourite from today's repeat of my recent Watercolour & Inks class. I know it may be wrong to have favourites, but it's only human nature to have preferences. Ladies at both classes enjoyed playing with a variety of inking techniques, getting messy in the morning and making up some of their artwork into cards in the afternoon, with 'not-so-clean' ink stained fingers ! These are the types of classes I enjoy most, seeing fellow crafters learning new...
