RETIRING PRODUCTS – Floral Tissue Box Cover

Lovely craft day today with some regulars, raiding my supplies to chose their own colour scheme for projects.  They found my Morning Mocha !!!!!! The request was flowers but not on sticks/cards.  Here I used the retiring Spiral Floral Die and various scallop punches to 'roll' flowers three different ways.  Love these tissue boxes and decorated photo clips they made to accompany them.   So nice to welcome a potential new member of my Stampin' Up! team from the...

TWO-DRAWER GIFT BOX

With the launch of a NEW catalogue, it's time to set about updating some of my favourite projects, using NEW card and Designer Series Papers. This was a gorgeous little box, I created using Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper Stack, for each of our team travelling companions, attending Stampin' Up! On Stage event in April.  Inside, I added Thorntons chocolate in A7 size cello bags.  I'm loving this project updated using the NEW papers available from 1st...

DEMO SWAP GROUP

Our May monthly Demo swap group was to create two cards, one something from 'old' catalogue but held over into the new catalogue, and one to create something 'new' from our pre-order products.  For my 'old' project, I used Butterfly Basics stamp set and Butterflies Thinlits Dies used at a recent 'Watercolour & Inks Technique class.  We filled an Aqua Painter with a supermarket sterilising liquid (bit kinder than bleach) and 'painted' the flowers, bleaching the colour from...

TRIO OF CARDS – Affectionately Yours Suite

Today I'm sharing the first of my projects made with the NEW Affectionately Yours suite from Stampin' Up! 2016/17 Annual catalogue.  Here are my first trio of cards, together with co-ordinating handmade envelopes, created using the Envelope Punch Board.  CARD 1 - I used the co-ordinating Stampin' Write Markers to colour the raised image inside the Floral Affection Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, before passing through the Big Shot Die-Cutting machine.  The...

WATERCOLOUR & INKS CLASS

This is my favourite from today's repeat of my recent Watercolour & Inks class.  I know it may be wrong to have favourites, but it's only human nature to have preferences. Ladies at both classes enjoyed playing with a variety of inking techniques, getting messy in the morning and making up some of their artwork into cards in the afternoon, with 'not-so-clean' ink stained fingers !  These are the types of classes I enjoy most, seeing fellow crafters learning new...

ANOTHER HAPPY CUSTOMER ….

Having not been able to make previous classes, Tracey was pleased to join us yesterday at my Craft Studio and finally make her wreath.  I love to see all the different colour combinations and here Tracey used Designer Series Papers she earned for FREE during Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration 2016.  Being able to hold classes at home, I always encourage customers to book a mutually convenient  date to repeat classes they were unable to attend...

TECHNIQUE TUESDAY

Today I thought I'd share a technique I love, making my own Card Candy dots.  Similar plain circles can be purchased from craft stores, however I prefer to make my own, as I prefer them to be in exactly the same shade of card that I use on my project.  Start by grabbing any small circle punch and some card scraps. I find the Owl Builder punch has some perfectly sized circles for my projects.  Place on a soft mat (or back if any old foam backed mouse mat) and...

BUSINESS CARD HOLDER

Here are some of my handmade Business cards and Business card holder project that I shared at our Stampin' Up! Team meeting today, updating with the Botanical Blooms theme. I designed the box around a swap I received from a fellow demonstrator Jo, in 2014, but resized larger to meet my requirements and then decorated with new current products, for a completely new look.  This bundle is one of my favourites in the current catalogue. For those of you familiar with Stampin' Up!...
