Welcome back to our Blog Hop with our Friends of S.U.B.A., sharing our inspiration round the globe with fellow Demonstrators.

One of the perks of being an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, is being among the first to see products in the NEW Annual Catalogue available from 4th June and also getting our hands on our very own copy ! This is one of the highlights of attending Stampin’ Up! On Stage Convention.

I’ve chosen to feature one of the products from the Bird Ballad Suite. The Bird Ballard Laser-Cut Cards & Tin #149595 is gorgeous and I’ve made up a couple of the cards to share with you today. When I first saw this suite, I loved everything in it so bought everything !

For my first card, I’m sharing one from my recent weekly Facebook ‘Live’. A piece of the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper #149592 was added behind the laser cut card front. This gave a nice decorative inside view too, seeing the reverse of the Designer Series Paper.

Two Stitched Nested Labels Dies #149638 were cut, once in Calypso Coral card #124392 and next smallest one in Shimmery White card #121717.

The beautiful Birds on a Branch image from Free As A Bird stamp set #149468 was inked up using Memento Tuxedo Black ink #132708 and stamped onto a piece of Shimmery White card, before colouring with Watercolour Pencils #141709.

To finish my assembled card above, I added a short length of the new 3/8″ (1cm) Scalloped Lace Trim #149593 under the Die shape.

My next card, I started by gently cutting away the centre of the laser cut card base, to create a window. The ‘doily’ effect piece leftover will be used on another future card. I added a Pool Party card layer inside, on the back of the card.

Next I took a piece of Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper #149592 and chose image I wanted to feature inside my ‘window’ and fussy cut by hand, using my Paper Snips #103579. Two smaller embellishments from the DSP, were attached, using Tombow #110755, to a scrap of Very Vanilla card #106550, to match the colour of the card base and hides the additional images on the reverse. These were then

Here is my card assembled. The sentiment is from the Free As A Bird stamp set #149468. Remember purchasing stamps and dies together you save 10% on the bundle using code #151123.

Pearl Basic Jewels were added to the flower centres to finish the card (see close up below).

Thanks for stopping by this morning. I hope you have enjoyed seeing my new Annual Catalogue inspiration today and have fun hopping round the rest of my Demonstrator friends, seeing the lovely projects they have to share with you today.

We would love to have a comment left on our posts before moving on and ‘hopping’ to Carrie’s blog to see her amazing creations.
