Did you know ‘National Learn About Butterflies Day’ is on Sunday 14th March? Such great timing for me to share todays project, as we ‘hop’ around the Globe, showcasing our ‘favourite bundle’.
If you have just joined me from Dana’s Blog or as one of my followers, a big warm English welcome to you.
Butterfly Brilliance pre-release
We are always really pleased to receive exciting ‘new’ products and this month my favourite bundle is the Butterfly Brilliance bundle, with the Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Papers, are available to order NOW!
How I created my Butterfly cards
Our bright, colourful and vibrant Rainbow Glimmer Papers #153056 were perfect for my Butterflies.
I cut one whole strip of Rainbow Glimmer Paper with the assortment of colours and Die-cut an assortment of butterflies.
Next, I cut a plain butterfly in Basic Black card and attached the glimmer through the centre only.
My base card was cut in Basic Black, with a Basic White mat layer and a slightly smaller layer of True Love Designer Series Paper #154281.
The True Love Designer Series Paper #154281 mat layer was cut lengthwise and adhered to the Basic White layer, with one front and one back panel, leaving a small border.
My sentiment was from the Well Written Dies #151816 was Die-cut in Basic Black.
For the Rainbow Glimmer mat layer, I turned over the Die, drew round on the reverse with a propelling pencil and fussy cut using Paper Snips #103579.
I really loved making this card and would love to know what you think. We love to receive feedback in the comments below.
