Hello and Welcome to our ‘Anything Goes’ Blog Hop, showcasing our favourite Stampin’ Up! products.

If you have just joined me from Sue’s Blog or as one of my followers, a big warm English welcome to you. For my card today, I’ve chosen to feature the Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper #152488. I will be very sad to loose these gorgeous foiled papers, when they retire from the current Annual Catalogue.

Tall & Slim card

This style of cards have recently increased in popularity. I had previously resisted creating as we do not stock envelopes in this size and no longer have our Envelope Board.

Not to be put off any longer, I created my card size and then an envlope, using one whole sheet of A4 card.

Butterfly Brilliance Dies

The Butterfly Brilliance stamps and Dies were an ‘early release’ product for both Demonstrators and Customers, ahead of upcoming 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue. Whilst their coordinating Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Papers sold out quickly, there is a multitude of things we can create with stamps & Dies and alternative Designer Series Papers.

My images were are very simply cut using the coordinating Dies. The gold Butterfly as stamped in Versamark, covered in Heat & Stick powder and melted using a Heat Tool.

Next, I pressed on the adorable Gilding Flakes carrying forward into the new Annual Catalogue, brushing excess back into the container.

This card was so much fun to create, I have partially created several more, using other Designer Series Papers in the Ornate Garden pack. Pop back again at the weekend and see the next batch together with measurements and tutorial.
