I am really looking forward to a nice Strawberry Cream Tea with my female friends, when Lockdown relaxes again … hopefully not too long now …

Today you are joining our Hop around the Globe, showcasing our gorgeous projects with a feminine touch.

Strawberry Cream Tea – Shaped Card

If you have just joined me from Annette’s Blog or as one of my followers, a big warm English welcome to you. For my share today, I have been creating with a Tea Cup shaped card using the Love You Always Specialty Designer Series Papers #154280.

I started with a shape I found online, and resized and adapted to suit our standard A6 size base card. Having got the size right, I then traced onto a piece of acetate, using a fine point Sharpie marker.

My card base is a standard A6 card base cut from Shimmer White card #121717, cut landscape with the fold at the top.

I then cut a piece of Love You Always Specialty Designer Series Paper #154280 and stuck to the front of my card. It only needs to be the size of the cup, not the hole card.

Next I drew around my acetate template using a propelling pencil, as they have a sharper point. The shape can be carefully cut out, either using a pair of Paper Snips or a sharp craft knife on self healing board.

Had to be the Sweet Strawberry Bundle

Yes, my fabulous Sweet Strawberry set provided the fruit, but this time stamped in Versamark ink, covered in Heat & Stick Powder and melted with a Heat Tool. Another favourite product of mine are the Gold Gilding Flakes. These generally pressed onto the melted Heat & Stick Powder, to provide the outline and seeds, before punching out with the Strawberry Builder Punch #.

The flowers are also from the same Strawberry bundle, together with Poppy Parade ink and some leaves in Garden Green stalks cut in half.

I hope you have enjoyed my project and enjoy your hop round the rest of the group today. Your next stop is Joy’s Blog, so click below to see what she has to share with you.

Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you back here soon.
