Todays theme is ‘Graduation’, however we interpret, so my choice was to showcasing the graduating colours of the Ombre inking effect.

Create With Friends stamp set #156058

This is a beautiful new stamp featured in the NEW Annual Catalogue. I am loving the sentiments in this set and looking forward to running a class with the different combinations.

The Stamparatus enabled me to stamp the top in the full strength ink more than once, to create a darker shade. Next i removed the ‘door’ of the Stamparatus and walked it down the Tool, giving a lighter shade each time.

Blending Brushes #153611

These Blending Brushes have been a wonderful addition to my Stampin’ Up! craft tools. Being so soft and delicate, they can achieve a wide range of techniques.

I decided part way through to place my panel back into the Stamparatus and added some Blackberry Bliss Classic Ink pad to the top of my Ombre effect. The walking plate of the Stamparatus makes lining up stamping a breeze. With my stamp still in position, I was able to simply over-stamping my top colours in the darker shade of ink, using Blackberry Bliss Classic Stampin’ Pad.
