Daisy Garden stamp for my floral card
Mixing my ‘old with new’, I’ve chosen the Daisy Garden background stamp from the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue. This is a wonderfully detailed stamp and soon fills the majority of a card.
Being such a large image, I used my Stamparatus #148187 to ink the stamp, using Jet Black Stazon ink pad #101406.
To colour my image I used Pale Papaya Classic Stampin’ Pad #155670 and a Sponge Dauber #133773, colouring the centre of the flower and flicking outwards.
For the leaves, I used my Soft Succulent Classic Stampin’ Pad #155778. The technique I regularly use to colour, is recycling an old Wink of Stella #141897. Adding a tiny drop of water and shaking well, washes Shimmery pigmant ink from the barrel and continues to add a little glitter to your watercolouring.
Next, I tapped an acrylic block onto the Soft Succulent Classic Stampin’ Pad and added a couple of drops of water. Mixing together with my recycled Wink of Stella brush, I collected some of the green ink and tapped against my Tombow Multipurpose glue case, leaving tiny splatters over the surface of the card.
***NEW*** Slimline Envelopes
My inspiration for today’s floral card was the new Slimline Envelopes #157981 you can find in the January-June 2022 Mini catalogue. One pack of 15 Slimline Envelopes, contains 5 Soft Succulent, 5 Gray and 5 White, all of which have a printed liner inside.
The front of my envelope was also stamped using the Daisy Garden background stamp and a tiny amount of colour added.
Finishing touches for my card were the sentiment from Special Moments stamp set #158081, available as a FREE product choice with purchase from Sale-A-Bration brochure. This was stamped onto a scrap of Basic White card and die cut using the smallest scalloped rectangle from Stitched So Sweetly Dies #151690. The ribbon used is Evening Evergreen Open Weave Ribbon #155573.
