Celebrating National Strawberry Day with Sweet Strawberry bundle from Stampin’ Up!

Today, our talented group of Global Demonstrators, are sharing their interpretations of this Sketch Challenge. Each Demonstrator taking part below, will be adding their own choice of stamps, ink & paper to create many different designs using this same template. I’m sure you will be amazed at the various interpretations!

I love Sketch Challenges. They can be interpreted as you wish, using the same layout, even turning on its side or upside down, the choice is yours.

National Strawberry Day – 27th February

Yesterday was National Strawberry Day and, with todays sketch printed and ready for creating, it was my focus for last nights Facebook ‘Live’.

Starting with a Thick Basic White base card #159230, I used one of the Flowering Fields #157670 12″X12″ Designer Series Papers. I chose the Poppy Parade spotty design, as it reminded me a little of the strawberry seeds.

Purchasing the Sweet Strawberry stamp & punch bundle #159523 has a 10% discount by purchasing together as a bundle using this code, but are also available individually. Each of the strawberry, leaf and stalk images are two-step stamping. This means one stamp does an outline image and another fills the centre.

I added some Die-Cut pieces from Stitched So Sweetly Dies #151690 and Layering Circles Dies #151770. The soft background was created using ink already on my Blending Brush #153611 and gently ‘massaging’ gently onto panel.
