What ?? FREE Sale-A-Bration products …….again ?

Yes, that’s right ………. Today I’m back ‘hopping’ this month with the Inspire, Create, & Share (I.C.S.) monthly Blog Hop Team, sharing our ‘FREE Sale-A-Bration’ creative projects. If you have just joined me from Joni’s Blog or as one of my followers, a big warm English welcome to you.

My share today features the FREE Sale-A-Bration Tree Lot Dies, that coordinate with the Trees For Sale stamp set in the July to December Mini Catalogue. I have also used the Pool Party and Soft Sea Foam Notecards & Envelopes, which is another FREE Sale-A-Bration product choice. with a £45 spend.

Card #1

I started by die-cutting the largest stitched square and largest stitched circle dies from Shimmery White card, using Stylish Shapes Dies.

Using a Watercolouring technique, I wetted the Shimmery White card panel using the broad Water Painter. Drops of reinker were added to the inside of my Pool Party and Soft Sea Foam ink pads, diluting with a water spritzer or you could squeeze a few drops from the Water Painter to create desired strength.

Keeping very ‘fluid’, I painted a ‘sky’ top and a grassy bottom and allowed to dry.

Small stars were stamped in the same Pool Party ink. Two trees were stamped using Soft Sea Foam ink for the solid image and Pear Pizzazz ink pad for the detailed image. These were die-cut using my FREE Sale-A-Bration Tree Lot Dies ~ you could earn these for FREE too, with a Level 2 spend on any Stampin’ Up! products.

The Sentiment was stamped in Soft Suede ink and die cut using the largest banner die from Stylish Shapes Dies.

Clear Rhinestone Gems were added randomly to add some ‘bling’, after all it is for Christmas.

Card #2

My 2nd card, was my favourite, repeating the steps in the first card, allowing inks to run further so natural ‘clouds’ formed and stippling the wet ‘grass’ to give detail.

The edges were sponged and sentiment stamped in Soft Suede ink. Sentiment was then fussy-cut and split into the two individual words.

To finish I stamped and die-cut the ‘Trees For Sale’ sign and inserted at an angle behind my sentiment.

I hope you have enjoyed my projects today as much as I did creating them and continue to enjoy the rest of our ‘hop’ around the globe today. Next up is Charmane’s Blog so click the ‘Next’ button below to see the gorgeous project she is sharing with you.

Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you back here soon.
