Christmas in July 2022 - Trees For Sale stamp & die bundle from Stampin' Up!

Christmas In July – Trees For Sale

Hello and Welcome to our Crafty Blog Hop, showcasing our ‘Christmas In July’ projects from Stampin’ Up!

Today, our talented group of Global Demonstrators, are sharing our Christmas In July themed projects. My share today features the ‘Trees For Sale’ stamp set, featured in the July to December Mini Catalogue. The ‘Sale-A-Bration ‘Tree Lot Dies’ are available FREE with a qualifying Level 2 spend, but hurry, this offer is only during July & August and only whilst supplies last.

All my cards have a ‘splodge’ effect stamp from Oceanfront stamp set #157862 stamped for my background using Starry Sky Classic Stampin’ Pad #159212.

I love my Stamparatus, as it makes it so easy to create multiple features on my cards. My ‘splodge’ and festive sentiment from Trees For Sale stamp set #159785 were mounted onto my Stamparatus #148187, which then enabled me to stamp both at once. Each card has been varied slightly using different elements from the Trees For Sale stamp set #159785 from the July to December 2022 Mini Catalogue. Some elements were Die-cut using the Tree Lot Dies one of the FREE products available during July and August, during Sale-A-Bration.

Card #1 – Simple Stamping

My 1st card has been stamped in the same Starry Sky ink as the ‘splodge’ and sentiment. I stamped both first and second generation – which is stamping a 2nd time without re-inking.

Keeping my design very simple for the newer crafters with maybe less supplies, the silver heat embossed stars could be changed to stamped stars instead.

Card #2 – Die Cut Trees

For my 2nd card, I added some Die-cut trees from the fabulous Tree Lot Dies from Sale-A-Bration which not only coordinate beautifully with the stamp set, but includes 24 dies to cut many other pieces to extend the use of this bundle. The foil elements are cut using the stunning Silver Foil 12″x12″ Speciality pack #156456

Did you catch the detail on those mini stars ? One die cuts all 3 in one die, saving time too.

Card #3 – Adding splatters

My 3rd card uses the largest of the tree outline and detailed tree dies. I have attached one flat using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive and one raised on Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The splatters were created using the middle size from my Water Painter trio #151298. I squeezed the Starry Sky Classic Stampin’ Pad #159212 spritzed with a little water to dilute to desired strength and flicked splatters over my card. Remember to cover your work surface, as there is no controlling the direction they land !

I hope you have enjoyed my projects today. Enjoy your hop round the rest of the group today. Simply click on the next name list below to see the other gorgeous projects being shared. We hope to inspire you to start creating some of your Christmas projects early.
