Summer Fun in the British Heatwave !

My project today was inspired by the beautiful blue skies and heatwave we are currently enjoying in the UK. The skies have been so beautiful and the Tahitian Tide shade of ‘blue’.

Sweet Songbirds Stamp & Punch bundle

I have chosen to use the Sweet Songbirds stamp & punch bundle #158727. This bundle was always going to make it into my basket, but only received this week, as other products were higher up my priority list!!

My card combo today uses Tahitian Tide card #159262, 2022-2024 In-Colour 6″x6″ Designer Series Paper #159253 and to sponge my clouds, with some Soft Suede for the layer and a few elements.

I love creating clouds and there are several ways to approach. Starting with two Cloud Punch #157749, I attach them together, slightly overlapping, using MultiPurpose Liquid Adhesive.

The Tahitian Tide ink #159210 was used with a Blending Brush #153611 to gently massage small sections. Continuously moving my templates, the sky was soon full of beautiful puffy clouds.

I used Soft Suede ink #147115 for the branches, Garden Green ink #147089 for the leaves and Sweet Sorbet ink #159216 for those cute tiny little flowers to finish my background.

For my sentiment, I stamped-off the ink once for the wood grain background and stamped the cute sentiment on top.
